CONSULAR BALL RAISES 1.2 MILLION RAND

The Consular Ball of 2018 held at the Kelvin Grove Ball room was a tremendous success breaking records by raising R 1.2 Million Rand.
The exceptionally unique auction experiences were the main attraction as a day trip to the Antarctica fetched R 120 000,00 , an Anton Smit mask fetched R 220 000,00 and dinner with Thuli Madonsela was sold twice for R 50 000,00 each.
The usual highlight of the evening and star item was a trip to Slovenia which sold three times for R 150 000.
International artists did the “quick change”routine and dazzled the audience with their magnificent dance and change routine and the Tygerberg Children’s Choir serenaded the audience into tears of emotion.
All the funds raised went to the Durbanville Children’s Home,, The Cape Tomes bursary fund , Proud partners and Shine Literacy.
It was certainly a night to remember !!!
